Structured Courses for Individuals or Groups on Rivers or Stillwaters
Bespoke fly fishing courses are offered for individuals or groups, tailored to your exact requirements. The courses can be designed to boost confidence, to bridge the gaps in knowledge, as a 'tuning' day for a fishing club, a laid back stag event, or a corporate day for team building.
Fly fishing courses are offered 7 days a week, 365 days a year, although certain fisheries, especially river fisheries, are not open all year round.

- Casting techniques
- Fishing methods and approaches
- Fly selection / Entomology
- Invertebrate sampling / identification / lifecycles

If you wish to arrange a course then please contact me as early as possible as bookings are usually made well in advance.
I can travel to any site within reason and can arrange access to most rivers. Transport, accommodation and all equipment required can also be arranged.
All the client needs to provide is:
- Suitable clothing
- Suitable footwear
- Eye protection (Essential)
- Environment Agency fishing licence
Food is normally taken at a local pub, but on-site catering can be arranged and bringing your own packed lunches is perfectly acceptable.
I can cater for instruction for up to 4 people at a time, although I will need to discuss exact requirements before I can commit to exact numbers. Courses can be arranged for larger numbers but advance notice is required to enable me to recruit a fellow instructor to assist and ensure a good client instructor ratio.
Course costs are highly variable depending on numbers, location, catering, accommodation etc., so please contact me to discuss your requirements and I can then determine approximate costs. If these indicated costs are acceptable, then a detailed quote will then be provided.
